Sugar Free Chocolate Brownies

Sugar-Free Brownies

This recipe for sugar-free chocolate brownies makes the fudgiest and very chocolatiest brownies! They satisfy my sweet tooth and my girls them too.  I don’t normally eat eggs but I use organic eggs here and I make exceptions when it comes to sweet stuff as I have such a sweet tooth and want something in the house or I’m tempted to eat the naughty stuff and then can't stop !!

Takes about 10 mins to prep and 25 mins to cook so pretty faff free – and that's essential for me x

Ingredients

  • 175g - butter or coconut oil
  • 100g or 1 cup – powdered sweetener (I only used plant based sweetener – Xylitol or Stevia….I prefer Xylitol as it doesn’t have such an after taste…but up to you)
  • 3 eggs (I always buy organic eggs)
  • 40 g or 1/3 cup raw cacao (or cocoa powder if that’s all you have)
  • 175g melted dark chocolate (at least 85% cocoa solids)
  • 75g or ¾ cup of gluten free flour or almond flour if you are doing a Keto Diet

What to do

  1. Preheat oven to 180 celsius/356 Fahrenheit
  2. Melt the chocolate (you can melt in a small bowl over a bowl of hot water or I just melt in the microwave and keep an eye on it for short bursts at a time… don't overheat it)
  3. Blend the melted or very soft butter, sweetener, eggs, and cacao with a blender or whisk
  4. Add the melted choc and flour until you have a thick, smooth paste/batter.
  5. Line a square or rectangular tin with baking paper and grease the base and sides
  6. Fill the tin with the Batter and bake for 25 mins until the top is firm
  7. Leave the brownies in the tin to cool completely before removing them
  8. Eat them x and hide them to stop eating them all in one go! x
